Number of songs not matching

I am using iTunes for a PC and an 6th gen iPod (both with the latest software), as well as iCloud Music Library. In iTunes, when i view my library via songs, I see there are 1981 songs totaling 14.55 GB. On my iPod under general - about, i see I have 2,351 songs. When i plug my iPod into iTunes and hover over the bar showing how much of the iPod is filled with audio, I see 1962 songs totaling 14.07 GB.

What is the cause of the different numbers? I have iCloud Music Library updated and all songs on iCloud Music Library are downloaded to the iPod.
